How long can an adult get CalWORKs payments?

Most adults can get CalWORKs for 60 months.  Even if you have "timed out" as an adult, your children can still receive payments.

Months when the adult is exempt do not count toward the 60-month time limit. (See "What are Welfare to Work Activities and Rules"). Months are removed from the 60-month time on aid clock if child support is collected for the parent, and if the parent completes a GED program or other high school equivalency program.
