Do children have to be under 18 years old to get CalWORKs?
Children who are under 18 years old are eligible for CalWORKs. Children can keep getting CalWORKs if they are 18 years old but still in high school. Children can get CalWORKs until age 19 if they did not graduate high school because of a disability.
