Will my CalFresh benefits continue if the Federal Government is shutdown?
No. Due to the federal government shutdown, CalFresh benefits will stop issuing starting November 1, 2025. Beneficiaries should not expect to receive new funds on their EBT cards until the federal shutdown ends.
You will have access to the funds already loaded on your EBT card during the shutdown.
Please call 2-1-1 or visit the food bank website to locate food resources in your community.
