Unemployment Insurance

During the pandemic, EDD granted benefits for employees and self-employed individuals who lost work due to the pandemic.  EDD sent out notices asking those people to verify their pre-pandemic employment to make sure that EDD only paid benefits to eligible people.  You must respond to EDD's request or you can be charged with an overpayment.
