Operating Hours

Office Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 12 p.m., 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Our telephone lines are open on Friday from 9:00 am to noon.

Walk-in Hours: Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon, and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. We prioritize these time slots for individuals who cannot use the phone or otherwise contact us through normal channels.

After Hours

If you are unable to make phone or in-person appointments during the day due to work, school, disability, or another similar reason, please call LSNC’s evening intake line any time at (866) 815-5990 to leave a message, and someone will return your call within one to two business days. A request for help with an open case must go through your local office during the day.

Cases we handle

Serving low income people in Butte, Glenn and Plumas Counties in the following areas: housing, public benefits (including CalWorks, CalFresh (food stamps), Medi-Cal, General Assistance (GA), SSI, and unemployment insurance benefits.

Serving senior citizens in Butte, Glenn, Plumas and Colusa County in the following areas: consumer issues, basic estate planning, powers of attorney, advance health care directives, and elder abuse problems.
