    Office Hours: 

    Auburn Office:  Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., 1:15 p.m. to 5 p.m.  

     

    Nevada City Office: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., 1:15 p.m. to 4 p.m.  The Nevada City office is closed on Thursdays. 

     

    General Intake Hours: 

    Auburn Office:  Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1:15 p.m. to 4 p.m.

     

    Nevada City Office: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., 1:15 p.m. to 4 p.m.

     

    Office Walk-in Hours: 

    Auburn Office:  Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and 1:15 p.m. to 4 p.m.  Our office is closed to new intakes on Fridays, but open for ongoing business with existing clients. 

     

    Nevada City Office: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., 1:15 p.m. to 4 p.m.  We prioritize walk-in time for applicants for services who cannot use the telephone or otherwise contact our office.  

    After Hours

    If you are unable to make phone or in-person appointments during the day due to work, school, disability, or another similar reason, please call LSNC’s evening intake line any time at (866) 815-5990 to leave a message, and someone will return your call within one to two business days.  A request for help with an open case must go through your local office during the day. 

    Cases we handle

    Housing, public benefits, including CalWorks, CalFresh (food stamps), Medi-Cal, General Assistance (GA), Social Security, SSI, unemployment insurance benefits (UIB), and state disability insurance (SDI).
