We provide services to people who live in the following counties: Amador, Butte, Calaveras, Colusa, Del Norte, El Dorado, Glenn, Humboldt, Lake, Lassen, Mendocino, Modoc, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, Sierra, Siskiyou, Shasta, Solano, Tehama, Trinity, and Yolo.

Operating Hours

All appointments are by phone.  EAP does not offer walk-in appointments.  

After Hours

If you are unable to make phone or in-person appointments during the day due to work, school, disability, child care, or another similar reason, please call our Expanded Access Project (EAP) evening intake line any time at (866) 815-5990 to leave a message, and someone will return your call within one to two business days.  If you want help with an open case, you must go through your advocate or local office during the day.

 

Evening intakes are not overflow appointments for when daytime appointments are full.

Cases we handle

Employment, licenses and permits required for work, housing, public benefits (CalWorks, CalFresh/food stamps, Medi-Cal, General Assistance/Relief, Social Security, SSI, Unemployment Insurance, and State Disability Insurance), and education (individualized education plans, discipline, access to education).

Have any documents that relate to your problem close by during your phone call.
