Can I receive extra food assistance for my children because of COVID?

Yes.  The County is providing additional food stamp benefits to replace meals that kids would have received if they were in school.  Children under the age of six who qualify will receive an EBT card in the mail in July 2021.  School-aged children will receive their cards in September 2021.  Each child will receive a separate card.

Children who are in full-time distance learning can receive up to $123 per month.  Children who are in part-time distance learning can receive up to $68 per month.  Please active your child's EBT card right away.  If you have trouble, call the EBT helpline at 1-877-328-9677 or visit P-EBT's website
