HCD annual report on California redevelopment agencies
September 7, 2007 (posted by SkeeterHawk)The Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) has posted its voluminous fiscal year 2005-2006 report on all California redevelopment agencies uses of their Low and Moderate Income Housing Funds and housing production activities. The report is very detailed with hundreds of pages and dozens of exhibits. Check out the summary if you want a more nutshell overview. The report is a reminder of the substantial amount in redevelopment coffers to build affordable housing. At the end of fiscal year 2005-2006 there was a total of 3.5 billion dollars in net worth in redevelopment housing funds with 1.2 billion dollars unencumbered and undesignated for housing activities.
