Supremes go live … again

The historically insular U.S. Supreme Court has of late taken more and more baby steps toward opening itself up to the way the rest of the world operates, including releasing more and more audio tapes of oral arguments in high profile cases. Last week we posted a note about same-day audio on the Guantanamo Detainees case. This week, the Supremes did the same, making audio available for this week’s arguments in the Enemy Combatant Detention and Cheney Energy Task Force cases. Audio links are available, as always, at the superb PBS Online NewsHour’s Supreme Court Watch website. (The links will inevitably roll of the site’s front page, but you can always find them at the archive page.)
